Dear Friends of Safarat, Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East our tour running 6–14 June 2026, led by Safarāt’s Operations Manager, Qudratullah Noory has some spaces available. The situation in Afghanistan is an island of calm in a stormy region, and with e-visas now available for travellers arriving in Kabul, it is now possible to avoid overnighting in Dubai and fly direct via Istanbul from Europe. We have carefully considered the ongoing situation in the country, and despite some problems in the east of the country around the Pakistan border, travelling in the North of the country has been unaffected. This carefully curated route begins in Mazar-e-Sharif and travels through Samangan, across the Hindu Kush, on to Bamiyan and Ghazni, before finishing in Kabul. It’s a rare opportunity to experience Afghanistan’s most dramatic landscapes and layered history in a small, thoughtfully managed group.
